Reconnecting with Nature: Lake Shannon Boat Launch and Day Use Park
The Lake Shannon Boat Launch and Day Use Park project was performed for Puget Sound Energy on the south end of Lake Shannon – a lake created by a hydro-electric dam in Concrete, WA. This project consisted of constructing a new day use area including a parking with twenty spaces for vehicles, twenty-one spaces for vehicle and trailer parking, premanufactured vault toilets, a picnic shelter, picnic tables, grills, trash receptacles, walkways, trails, an informational kiosk, and an access road that connects to the existing Lake Shannon Road. The primary function of this project is to provide a day use area to the public so they can have access to the lake and enjoy the new amenities provided.
