Angel of the Winds RV Resort - Nature's Escape with All the Amenities
This 70-acre state-of-the-art resort, built for the Stillaguamish Tribe and the Angel of the Winds Casino, was completed in just 9 months, ahead of its 12-13 month schedule. The scope included constructing picnic and BBQ shelters, three restrooms and laundry buildings, a steel overlook structure, and eight luxury Yurts in a dedicated village. Despite challenges like exposed wood beams, hidden hardware, and adverse weather, the team delivered high-quality structures. Remote locations and wet conditions complicated logistics, but innovative solutions such as tracked vehicles, ensured progress. The Yurt village faced groundwater issues, requiring careful planning and civil work. The resort's main clubhouse , with its timber-framed aesthetic, included an indoor pool, spa, fitness room, and entertainment spaces. Notable features like a custom 7-foot fire pit and porte-cochere added to the resort's appeal. The projects success, culminating in an on-time Memorial Day 2024 opening, was due to meticulous scheduling, teamwork, and the ability to overcome challenges.
